Beef Stroganoff Over Buttered Noodles

When I came into the kitchen and saw this beautiful spread of fresh meat and veggies, I knew I had to share.  This version is definitely a couple hundred notches up from the Beef Stroganoff that was served at my dorm eatery at Cal.

Uncle Greg and Loretta were an amazing team in the kitchen, as always.  The chuck roast came out really tender and the extra mushrooms were a great addition.  Nothing like a simple, hearty meal on a chilly winter night.  We savored every bite!

My favorite part was the hint of sour cream in the sauce.  They altered the recipe from Tyler Florence by doubling the sauce and mushrooms — I love that!  Hope everyone is savoring the last bit of a great weekend.  Eat well and live well!
